Italy is experiencing a social and economic crisis that concretely affects millions of people. In 2020, more than two million families and over 5.6 million individuals were in absolute poverty. in 2021, as a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic, one million new families were added to those in conditions of absolute poverty, reaching the highest level since 2005.
This project intends to guarantee the most vulnerable people and families targeted help to overcome a moment of emergency, promote social inclusion and contribute to the achievement of economic autonomy. In close coordination with local partners, it identifies people in conditions of social marginalization and, based on the individual needs, provides emergency monetary contributions, professional training, work orientation and support for entry into the job market.
Monitoring figures evaluate the conditions of each beneficiary periodically to ensure that the support plan is working and to decide on any remodulations.
