Susanna Azzaro

Project Manager, Migration

She began working in the field of humanitarian emergencies in 2005 in the aftermath of the Tsunami that hit South-East Asia and has since travelled and worked in project management in Sri Lanka, Bosnia-Herzegovina and especially in the Middle East. In particular, she specialises in the subject of Protection and thus in the implementation of specific activities for children and women in conflict contexts. Back in Italy, she deals with trafficking and immigration, among other things, and has been involved in both the Afghan emergency of 2021 and the Ukrainian refugee emergency.
She graduated in Political Science in New York and obtained a Diploma in Humanitarian Assistance and at ASGI in Rome. She has completed a course to become a legal worker.
