Daring Women in Business Prize (DWB)

Afghanistan, Kabul. 2020. Participants: 27 women entrepreneurs.

This was a competition organised by NOVE to encourage Afghan women entrepreneurs to be resilient in the face of the severe economic downturn caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. It did this by supporting the launch or enhancement of the best women's business ideas.

The Italian-Afghan jury was made up of institutions, foundations and banks. They evaluated the proposals sent in by business women from all over the country, selecting five finalists and awarding the Prize on 24 November 2020,
in an official ceremony.
